| V-plan or GUE deco plan or ... Before I buy either V-planner or GUE deco planner (or both), is there any last minute advice or recommendations? Although GUE is more expensive, I like the compartment graphs so this may be my first choice. I have bought a portable hard drive so I will load it onto this. Then plug it into computers at internet cafes so I can run it. Will this work? GUE told me that I can only load the program once. The reason for this is because baggage allowance means cutting back on luxuries such as laptops and I will be heading to Asia so the internet cafes are everywhere & cheap. The best would be to access a program on-line. But I can't find a way to do this as I will be using Tx and 100%. Thanks, MFF |

| I struggle with V Planner (or at least the trial versions I have used) I find the readouts from Decoplanner a lot easier to use |

Maybe it's 'cos I started using V-Planner (and ZPlan before that) some time before Decoplanner that I just can't get to grips with the Decoplanner interface. |

| a vote for V-planner here as well. Easy to use interface. Free upgrades. Put it on your mobile phone and dispense with the hard drive.

| V Planner already works on mobiles, I love it. I was also thinking of getting one of these Asus eeepcs and trying the get the Linux version of V Planner to work on that.

| A lot of shops I dive with want a printed copy of my profile before the dive, so the mobile option is out. |

| I use HL planner. Free software and a really easy to use use interface. The only annoying thing about it is it calls dives 'missions' ?? I dont know how many others are using it but its not managed to bend me (yet)

Seriously, if you can find a workaround for this, it's a great product. I have both the desktop & mobile versions |
