After that thread about deco theory both Mark and WL got me curious and done some readind about M values , deep stops and gradient factors altought all are connected to each other. But as usual have some questions, I know that gradient factors are a % of an m value, also that lo GF are to create deep stops and Hi is for shallow deco. How can you see where the M values is on the graph? What are standart values for them? What people use?

If you plan a dive on the Decoplanner you can click on Graphs and see the M values in relation to the 16 tisue compartments.

You can click on Analise to see all the relevent data on each tisue compartment throughought the dive profile. If you are an expert on deco you can use this data to modifie the deco profile but frankly the easiest way to modifie the profile is to alter the GF's on page one.

You want out of the water fast go for High GFs you want a very safe dive with deep stops go for low GFs

100 gf low 100 gf High being very agresive and quick out of the water

10gf low 80gf hi being soft enough for grandad and maxing on the deep stops. (its also what I use on deep dives but then I am old enough to be a grandad these days )
