    Arrow Below water embarrassment

    Ok,

This is a DiFF thread for you to share anything particularly DiFF that you have done below the water during the day - best put it on here and let us all learn from (and laugh at) your stupidilty so we don't do it ourselves....or laugh and do it anyway, only to go "Oh shit, I can't believe I did that"

ie: No fins....open drysuit zip, or my personal favourite, shrinkwrapped drysuit forgot to connect the inflator hose.....etc.

Share your embarrassment, and we will share ours back with you...

Good stories will be carried through into a section on the website.
I wish I could sleep under water so whenever I woke up I would be happy.

Dare to be DiFF (a club for idiotic people who want to have fun underwater)

For those of us who do....see

Did you hear about the one where Daz had an Eeyore clipped to his butt D ring for a whole dive?

    Talking

    Ok,

A few years ago in Gibraltar while diving some of the wrecks there, I jumped off the boat only to feel a sudden and sustained cold rush.

Yep, I had left my dry suit fully open and took on several gallons of chilly winter Atlantic water.

Apparently my buddy had never seen a diver get back to a boat so quickly!, getting up the ladder was a different case thought, I had to de-kit in the water as I was too heavy to climb. Once on board, I was so determined to still dive I "hung" myself upside down to empty the water for a few minuits, got my kit back on, and went in! I was blooding freezing.

I'm older and wiser now, and would probably do it again!.

    James
Diving is not for the faint harted - you won't pass the medical.
