Looks like there's going to be a fair few of us to practice on then - yep, would make a cracking drinking game too...I'm sure we could use the basket things above water and chuck ping pong balls at them or something..... I still think hockey sticks are a rubbish idea - you can't make anything go fast enough through water with them....whatever you hit with them (not each other obviously...erm) would only go about half an inch, never mind trying to swing a hockey stick under water - it wouldn't work. I'm not saying that the wind up toy game will work either - but it just might. I'm concentrating on having some more ideas anyway......

| [quote=Queen flip flop] I also get a bit feart when I have to cross the border (and thats only going to morrisons) QUOTE] There really int a right lot of hope for you! You can get those underwater etchasketch's still - Steve Laws has got one (I think it was him) you have to get them from BSAC though I think. I'm thinking the Cape might be a bad idea because the bottom's all silt - and I can see us being stuck in a half centimeter vis after about 10 mins - what with Russ's buoyancy. I reckon we need to practice somewhere with either a shingle, or a sandy bottom. Oh, I dunno - like Thailand!!! How nice would that be - wander in off the beach - mess about for a hour practicing hoola hoop football and then out, up the beach for a beer.... Ah, Autumn's def on the way - am dreaming about sunshine....again.

| If we did go to the cape we could use the etch a sketch thingies to draw the gnomes in the garden at the far side...scary buggers they are...along with those bloody big horses...bucking bronco anyone? As cobby has now "come in from the cold" AKA got herself a drysuit, she's just itching to try it out. Capernwray's as good a place as any (and we can drop the kids off at their Nan's on the way...hurrah) |

| Ok, Am having a small problem. A) Where the Hell can I buy a beachball from in September? B) How the Hell do I fill it with salt water? I didn't do all the proper sciences at school - I did rural science and kept chickens instead. C) Who sells hools hoops (not crisps)?
