puddi the pussy goes diving

hey saw this on the interweb thingy thought some of you might get a laugh outa it

Hello my fellow felines,
I would like to introduce myself, my name is Puddi,

Now I am sure there are some of you out there like me who enjoy a little water playtime sitting in the sink while my Momma is washing her teeth, and also sitting in the tub after she has had a shower, don't worry I don't feel the need for one of those, strange things.

Anyway my Momma has taken a strange liking to something they call "diving"...... from what I can gather from watching this strange ritual, which takes place most weekends, basically consists of lots of bags; which from my point of view is great,as they make great places to nap, especially if there is a nice snuggly sweater in there as well, but beware that if you are napping it is very likely that other strange thing can be added to the bag, while you are still in there, such as these big webbed feet that they seem to need to wear.......

Well I did say it was strange.....

Anyway it gets even more interesting when she returns, which it has to be said is usually late, all the bags return covered in mud, which for a house pussy like myself really seems a little mucky, but then I am not the one who feels the need to jump into a freezing cold lake, with no visibility am I! The "drying out" period then begins, this involves these big body suits to be hung on the curtain rail, which has to be said it great fun for a game of how high can I climb up the suit with out Momma noticing.

Don't tell her but my best attempt is up to chest level.

Basically Kittyies, my advice to you in surviving this strange obsession with all fluff intact are as follows;

Make sure that you curb you bag fetish when the "diving" thing is being prepared for, otherwise you could end up going on a trip that you don't want to.

When the body suits are hanging up make sure that you are not caught using them as a jungle Jim, they don't seem to like that and just seem to mutter something like "do you have any idea how much that dry suit cost?!!!"

My personal favorite would be to give the cold shoulder when she first gets home, to make her feel bad about leaving her baby alone all day, usually works a treat...
lots of pampering and kitty treats!
If they insist on having such bizarre hobbies that is not for us to judge, but maybe just to have a "want are you up to now " expression on our face!

Good luck fellow felines....................

purrs

Puddi

What with your posts on the rubber suit thread and now this wet pussy thing I'm beginning to wonder about you !!!

I have a cat and he is intelligent enough not to pay attention to my turning up on sunday afternoons dripping wet and toting armloads of gear ( which is all to the good as he would rapidly become compost somewhere in the flower bed should I ever catch a single claw near my bcd ).

However I have two excitable dogs next door who go totally ballistic whenever I push a purge valve when washing my gear. As you know I'm the only paranoid diver in Viking sac to carry three regs so this can involve a rather exhausting afternoon for my canine audience.

Considering they always start to bark when I am trying to catch some rays and quality zed's in the back garden I can only smile and say 'serves the b*****ds right !

Can't be too careful, better purge those regs again !

Chris

best not to purge your regs when washing them just let them soak

Roger,

I know where you are comming from; you don't want water getting into the L/P hose and maybe back to the first stage, possibly causing damage.

I leave my regs connected to my tanks and pressurised when washing so when I purge it's no more than operational conditions but I think this might just get the diaphram that bit cleaner than maybe leaving with sea water residue.

Does this make sense or have I misread reg construction ?

Chris

Hee hee hee

I know just what you mean but my diving pet keeps me away from most of the exciting kit. I did manage to wash this for her though .......
