It didn't land there by mistake, it was put there for people to play and dive around. Lisa wrote in the silt which has settled on the "wreck" in a few weeks it will be covered over again by all the flailing fins PS. I don't condone destruction of wrecks, either writing on them or removing things from them, but this isn't a "wreck" as such. PPS. I am in the wrong section |

LOL It doesnt take long for it to silt over again and as it is not 'carved' into anything, does no harm as far as I'm aware, but I could be wrong, if so ...sue me

It's not possible at the moment as I'm engaged in salt water diving but when I return to wash the kit in Capernwray I'll sign every bit of crap just for you. It won't be as neat as Lisas though.

| Bleedin' 'eck with all this debate you'd think that we'd strayed into the DIR section! Silt writing is ok. I took the photo to highlight how YD is making its presence felt not to start a debate on the merits of silt writing in a training quarry on a hang glider put there to amuse divers.

| At least it's not a 5-foot 'Porg' as written in white paint on the harbour wall at St Abbs. [opens can of worms] IMHO Someone writing in silt is much less of a problem vs people physically removing chunks of the wreck with a lump hammer so that it can sit gathering dust on their mantlepiece vs being able to be seen by umpteen other divers. [/opens can of worms]
