| Prob not very wierd but i thought so at the time - didnt keep it either as my first spidge is going to be something really good but on my last dive in weymouth harbour i found an really old schweppes yellow drinks can with the retro looking logo still on it. |

| I found a razor sharp 14" butchers knife stuck in the sand up to its hilt under a jetty once! What I found weirdest was that the jetty walkway was a one piece concrete slab without any gaps or holes for the knife to fall through yet it was under the exact centre line of the walkway and neatly vertical! Oh yeah! I found a tenner in Plymouth harbour!

| Shore dive in Ullswater many years ago, saw quite a few golf balls on the way out, piles of old bottles - and then a plastic toy boat at about 20 m. Conducted a recovery excercise (well, put it in my pocket). Back on the surface the battery contacts were all manky and corroded - but shook the water out, switched it on and it worked! Had I thought to set the rudder so that it would travel in a circle, rather than heading straight off across the lake, I would still have it today. |
