I am very sad, I look at Catfish websites, drool at the tanks OTHER PEOPLE make. Then travel to my local aquatic suppliers and buy plants so my tank can look nice.

Co2 kit for nice green plants is £170 ish, so I'd rather buy scuba gear !!

Pic will follow shortly, once plants have arrived from suppliers.

You could always do a DIY CO2 kit with some airline and a 2 litre pop bottle. If your tank is too big, do two.

Rubbish - you can get kits for £20, i use one, fill with powder stuff (yeast), sugar and water and it goes for a month, makes some damn fine moonshine too.

Thanks for the link. i think that tank is amazing! I have never thought of a planted tank like that as I have always thought tank=fish and maybe a couple of plants. i cant even look after my garden like that.
Have a green and ignore them that are calling you for liking something so different.

Wow I've never seen a fish tank like it.. it's like a proper tropical garden in there.

Not being a fish keeper myself, I have little idea, but I do remember keeping a sorry gold fish with a few bits of pond weed thrown in... I hang my head in shame.
