Very nice, all that hi-tech planted tank stuff is too much for me, messing with ferts and CO2 and increasing lighting etc then having the battle with algae caused if you get it wrong just isn't my cuppa.
I just have tanks that happen to have some plants inIf the plants live, then great, if not, I add different ones that might.
Have you had a look on UKAPS? there's some real plant geeks on there, all Amano disciples like George Farmer

The slate is nice and handy as it doesn't grow very fast
