    Diving in Lundy..?

Rather than me hiring the whole boat for a weekend away in Lundy, does anyone know if there is a local dive club there which offers dive days to paddle with the seals, and local wrecks?

i'm thinking of going there for a jaunt sometime this year on my tod.

I would thoroughly recommendsd Andrew Bengy and Obsession (done 2 weekends with him to Lundy and booked up again for this year!!!). If you'r after good seal action leave as late in the year as possible when the yget really friendly - September/October by all accounts is the best time. Bee nthere in ?May and saqw hardly any - went in October and it was Seal madness!!!

(sorry to resurrect an old thread)

Anyone know if it is possible to stay on the island and either shore dive/join a boat from there?

Looks like I may be sailing around Lundy in early September, and would love to dive with the seals... but won't need accommodation (and a yacht isn't a great dive vessel!)

All the properties on Lundy are owned by the Landmark Trust.

6 years ago when I stayed there during peak times they only accept week long bookings but maybe that has changed now.

But it is definitely worth a week long stay, it's wonderful!
