The NACD blue book is useful and holds about twenty or so more which I know but can't recall using for real. Signs for bent, CO2, room, stage, etc. For anything else I have my wetnotes and a pencil. I like looking back through my wetnotes. I have one page in my writing which says 'where are the bottles' and Jarrod's writing which says 'we must have missed them'
I know the blue ones but not the rest. What a great you tube this would make!

I only have one page written in my wet notes which says, "I'm f........ing cold" (I had a drysuit full of 4 degree water) and an almost illegible reply which says "I'm dry " Cock

Did you find the bottles ok?

We found them OK - on scooters, 3 sink holes back after following a dead line and hearing Jarrod laugh a lot. Mind you, he was number three that day - so I blame him

Mark Powells sign for 'bag up' is a bit different to mine. He had to mime about 4 others before I understood And that was on helium!

I have a picture of a slate that says 'where the f*ck have you been?' in my wife's writing, and underneath the one word answer 'digging'. Did get a nice perfume bottle though.

My favorite was one of the guys in the diving group, who showed a slate with 'I love you' on it to his 'wife' on a 35m wreck. Except the 'wife' was a guy called Steve - Narced?

Looking at the "preview" bits of the book - do you really need a sign for "Whale"? I can't really imagine an underwater conversation -
    "Whats that?"
    "Whale"

Well what do you know you can do a speciality in it??

SeaSigns Underwater Communication for Scuba Divers & Students

    and no not just Padi.

I like the bit where you recieve a little tag for your BCD so other qualified signers can talk to you.

Thats realy going to get people quing up.

Mind you a dvd would be better rarther that pictures with arrows on to try and put across how the signal is made.

A sign for 'this is brilliant' would be handy! I generally go for a double vigorous OK emphasised a bit

Gloves with stripes down the sides of the fingers would help..I'm not joking!...trying to see a black glove in front of a black drysuit in black/murky water is not easy...mind you being a bit narked probably didn't help either

Alternatively, tell them to hold their hand off to the side so it is not directly in front of them so you can see it clearer.
