| Scubapro MK25 Dear All, First post so go easy on me please! Have just got an evolve to replace my explorer. Currently have 2 x MK25 S600 regs. The hose routing does not look good and I am wondering whether I should change to Mk17/DS4's to tidy things up. I can get a good deal on 2 x Mk17 and all my other stuff is scubapro so would prefer to go this route. Otherwise can I match DS4's to the S600. Don't think that there is too much of a problem with this, again would prefer to stick with the SP kit but not against changing if there is a benefit. Any advice as to which is the best route to go would be most appreciated. Thanks |

| Hose routing!! Hi, I cannot understand how you have had trouble with hose routing on MK25 1st Stages as these must give you the cleanest and hose routing with the least stress on hoses than any of the regs you mentioned.. the only thing i can suggest they are not rigged correctly ..amongst my diving buddys/GUE Trained I think i'm the only one the dives MK25s...I personnally found them Faultless from Dorothea in 5 deg in winter to Mexico no problems, I wouldnt swap them out The regs are angled inwards at approx 45 deg with the tops upper most. with the primary and secondary reg hoses utilising the bottom ports which face inwards I have pictures at home ,however away at work at present,I'M SURE SOMEBODY WILL COME ALONG WITH PICTURES. I think there might be pictures at www.gasdiving .co.uk HTH Andy |

| Same here too. No strain reliefs though Mk20/25s are fantastic regs. Bit of overkill having two S600s though ya flash git! |

| mine are similar to the pic but i pulled that picture from a DIR kit config (sorry BLACK MAFIA) site mmmmm as for the 600 yep flash twat

| Mk25 Thanks for the input- 2 x S600 yes more money than sense but good reg. Still think D400 better though. As for routing same as gasdiving but evolve is very close/pushed up 1st stage. Had not thought that 40lbs wing was going to be quite that big!! Still will dive it for a while and see what happens. Thanks all |

| I have an S600 and do not trust it in cold water. It free flows regularly. I have an R380 which is a far more reliable reg is colder water. Over time (and too many freeflows) it's Apeks ATX50/40 for me now and I have not looked back. I would trust the Mk25s, they are a very good 1st stage but not the S600s 2nds. |

| you will find that will be the case with most setups.. the evolve sits very high on the back plate with sits in a pretty much fixed position anyway.. don't worry about it. it doesn't affect your trim or bouyancy.
