dir stage rigging kit

can someone explain me how to assembly at home a dir stage rigging kit without spending a lot of money for the halcyon one? once i found a website with a very nice explanation but i've lost it. any help would be appreciated.

To be honest by the time you've spend £12 on two stainless boltsnaps, £5 on a stainless band and found all the other bits - I'm not sure there's much of a saving on the £25-30 the pre-made one costs.
