| Apeks DS4 Single Configuration Hi. Can someone tell me the best setup for this please? Long hose off the front or rear right port? I've found plenty of stuff about twin setups but not with a single tank. Cheers, Darren |

| I think it would depend on your wing - if you put the long hose behind the wing (e.g. with a Halcyon Explorer) then the rear port is better. If you put the long hose in front of the wing (e.g. with an Evolve) then the front port is better.

| Route your long hose, through elastic, along your cylinder and not around your neck and then it doesn't matter More comfortable and a darn sight safer, IMHO, too

The rear right port is fine, use the front port for the backup reg, and on the left side you have the SPG and the Inflator hose on the front left port. You can also run the drysuit off the rear left port , but I use an argon bottle, so I don't have to mess about attaching and detaching hoses when going in the pool/on holiday. I have an Aqualung Legend 1st stage for my single cylinder rig and it is nearly identical to the DS4. Andy |
