| The only problem I've ever had with my TX40 was a gently fizzing turret O ring on the DST 1st. Generally caused by a build-up of green crud and mended in Seahouses harbour wall car park in about 5 mins.

| Thanks for all your suggestions. I have decided to stick with the cyklons at the moment. |

Blimey can't I ask for an opinion now I realise my opinions don't count for much I don't need to change it was a whim, plus I have only just had one of the cyklons serviced and I wouldn't get the value back by selling them, it really was because of the deals going round at the moment on the ATX's. I have more than enough things to spend money on right now. I can do quite a lot with £400 Steve, my "probe" has been secured and sealed |

| Cyklons! good choice!! Hi Fiona Just read your original post and all in between! >> I have decided to stick with the cyklons at the moment<< Good choice! There's nowt wrong with Cyklons at all. I have used them on and off both recreationally and commercially for years (along with plenty of other regs) and they have never let me down. They are bone simple, despite seemingly popular opinion about complicated internals!! and as long as you soak them well after every dive, they will last for ever. Don't be caught out by all the colour and hype of the 'NEW AGE' stuff out there. Its all good kit, but not quite the real thing :o)) Save your pennies for the servicing, it's well worth it! Out of interest, I would be interested to know if they are still on the original Poseidon 1st stages? Regards Mike Aquatech Diving Services Isle of Man |

| Yes - why? Hi Fiona I was interested because I wondered how you get on with routing your hoses. I personally use Mares MR12 1st stages, as they have a much better port layout, virtually allowing an almost unlimited orientation. That's all. Nothing untoward in my question :o)) Regards Mike Aquatech Diving Services Isle of Man |
