Hi Paul,

Hurghada for two weeks? Tough life some have

I don't think swivels per se are out .... they exist on the MK20s and MK25s which are so favoured but the DIR crowd tend to want a track record of success, especially in a cave, and I am not sure the Legend has that reputation.

I have no first hand experience of the DST but it was recently explained that the DST swivel can fail whereas the MK25 one is much less likely to.

For regular open water diving though, I think the risk reduces and so the range of suitable regs increases.

It's be great to see you at one of hte Discover DIR days and I'll certainly arrange another later in the year. Capernwray is probably too far away for me but NeilH arranges them there so probably best to pm him to see when he plans another.

HTH
Mal

Ditto on that configuration for both twins and singles, except that I use an R190 as back-up for twins, rather than a R390 (because I got it for free!)

Should be fine - it's what I started out with
Not sure what you have though as I don't remember mine having anything that swivelled. Mind you I only have the one legend reg and don't know the range...

There will be another at Capernwray, I just haven't sorted anything out yet. I'll look at sorting out a date sometime soon but have a lot on at the moment!
