Halcyon charger specifications

Unfortunately my charger for my Halcyon Proteus has got lost somewhere in my house move.

Halcyon want a laughable £130 for what is in effect a £2 adapter and I was hoping that someone with one of these torches could post the voltage/amplitude specifications of the charger so that I can source a third-party replacement.

Thanks in advance.

Jimmy

Jimmy,

There's been a mix-up somewhere. A proteus charger should be £19 or thereabouts. The price you have is for the new computer controlled NiMH battery chargers - a different animal altogether.

I can supply if you like.

Sigh

I did ask the shop to check more than six times and asked them if they were sure - muppets! I won't disclose their name as they are normally very good.

Drop me a PM with your contact details and I'll order one.
