Halcyon / DUI Demo days w/e 10/11th Nov, Capernwray

Hi all,

As most of you know on Saturday 10th of November, there is a DIR/GUE demo day at Capernwray.

We are very pleased to say that over this weekend, we will also be running Halcyon/DUI demonstration days. It will be running over both days, but the Sunday will be the main event.

There will be an opportunity for anyone who is interested to try out and get advice on some top-notch equipment. We will have the full range of Halcyon wings, lights, SMBs, DUI drysuits, ECS twin sets , single tank systems all set out as an exhibition for you to come and look at, and ask as many questions as you like. Much of this will be available for you to try out in the water as well.

I’m also putting together a couple of short presentations for the Sunday.
- Factors to consider when buying a drysuit
- Equipment configuration
- SMB and line laying workshop

There is no charge for any of this, apart from your entrance fee to Capernwray. I’m hoping to be able to get in the water with as many people as want to go in as well, so you can get some feedback on how to use the equipment most effectively. I’d also like to stress that we’d love to see divers from all backgrounds, not just the DIR people!

Will be interested in the Linelaying workshop, I missed the DIRx gig.
Wouldn't mind having a look at the ECS twinsets and maybe having a go.

This is exactly why the days are set up. To give people an opportunity to see and try out some equipment, and also to learn something if they have the urge
