| weight harnesses with wings Hi does anyone use a weight harness under a single wing config.I have weighted STA and trim weights on the cambands but have to have approx 6-8 kg on my waist of which not that keen on the ACB pockets or standard weight belt. Any advice most welcome ![]() |

| Halcyon and Frog do some nice trim weight pockets which would allow 2-4kg to be attached to your cambands. A good solution as long as it works with your trim setup. Otherwise, OMS and Custom Divers (I think) offer some solutions for integrated weight pockets that will fit onto your waistband. |

| I use a bowstone weight harness under my apeks wing. The wing has intergrated weight pockets but they are such a pain to set up that I do not use them. This set up works for me

| When I used to dive with a single and wing I used a Bowstone weight harness. This worked very well from a comfort and weight removal point of view, but sometimes it felt like I had too much harness, ie the weight harness AND my backplate harness. But it was still much better than a lot of weight on a belt. I still use the Bowstone harness when diving singles with a BCD. JJ. |

| I was using my singles wing with weighted STA for the last two weeks. With the standard SS backplate (2.8k I think). I tried a Bowstone weightbelt with 4k in it but it felt awful under my harness. So I slid the weights directly on the cambands, one on the top band, one on the bottom and I slid the bands around so they were both inline with the valve & balanced. In the water it felt absolutely fine & trimmed out no problem. If you can get a couple of 3k weights, that should do nicely. Or you could buy some extra cambands for your tank and they could be a 'permanent' feature - once the weights are in place, you would be sorted....... Di
