Iron Tying Off

I'm planning on doing my ironing in the bottom of a quarry over the weekend, and hence will have to tie off my iron and ironing board.
Is there a generally recognised DIR configuration for this? If not any suggestions would be greatfully received.

Cheers

Jimbo

It's absolutely vital that you hog loop the iron flex. Should your buddy have an OOS (Out of Steam) Incident, you must be able to donate your own iron speedily, easily and reliably.

The Ironing board cover must be black.

The clothes you iron must be predominantly black but with occasional flashes of Red.

Finally, make sure you plug the iron into a reliable electrical supply and make sure it hasn't got one of those unnecessary RCD things on it.

Please come back on Monday and tell us all about it .... we'd be *so* interested

Mal,
You are slipping, you didn't advise the OP to have his back up iron on a bungies necklace

Thanks for all the useful advice, i'll bear it in mind during my preparations. Unfortunately I can't access a sinking caravan at short notice, however access to a sunken one i available and may be used.
Has anyone experienced the aforementioned OOS Incident?
I imagine it could make ironing creases extremely difficult..

Fella, You can't expect to get all the answers from the internet you know. Sometimes you just need to go out there, try for yourself .....BTW make sure it's a very robust electrical supply
