Can Light and Weighting
My new can light is 1Kg negatively buoyant.

Am I right in thinking I should take 1kg of lead off to compensate for this?

If it's 1Kg -ve in fresh water it will be a whole 3% less bouyant, so you're looking at .97Kg -ve.

Lose a kilo from your weighting. Do not treat it as a stage, I'm afraid your lovely shiney new light should be considered emergency ditchable weight.

I have to now fess up.. I have just bought a second hand salvo, it looks great and am very impressed Testing next weekend on the M2 and the sky so will report final verdict then.....
