DIR Fundamentals - April

So what do you intend to do to work the Easter eggs off the waist line in April?

I have a maximum of two spaces on a Fundamentals course which will be held in the southern UK home of DIR diving - Vobster Quay I can't promise you tropical waters or pods of dolphins but I can happily say that it should be good fun.

Ah it's a fundamentalist free zone this one - people who want to find out more about GUE, improve their skill set in the water and have some fun - of course

Cornwall is lovely. North coast was a bit rough yesterday when we went wave watching - closest I can still get to it mind.
Can't get to Vobster I'm afraid....we will have to have a summer Cornish course...

Now that would be fun - there must be a cove somewhere near you guys that would make a Fundies venue.... something for you to go look for as you hobble round I guess

I am sure there are lots. What's the critera, just sheltered and shallow?

Well tropical reef, 28 degrees, a couple of whale sharks and a choclate factory nearby would be good - but sheltered and shallow would be a start

One of the nicest courses I helped on last year was in Ireland where we were able to beach dive in a sea loch - warm, stuff to look at, easy to get in and out and a convenient dive store nearby for lectures/gas etc. Would be fantsatic to find somewhere like that here.

Anyway - enough about that - who wants to come and play?

Porthkerris - fills pretty much all your criteria.

Drawna Rocks = Reef and v. good one it is too.
In the right months - Basking sharks = much better than whale sharks!
Roskilly's = ice cream/fudge/pasties/etc - ok, so it's not chocolate, but it's damn fine fare.
Air fills? = right on the beach.

28degrees? Ok, it might struggle there - air temp maybe, but probably not water temp!

Hmmm - OK well that's me persuaded. Cornwall in the summer it is then.....
