    Could not agree more. exactly what I do, however, with some people there is no benefit in anything other than the way they do it... be that right or wrong.. that is what causes the rucks, the rest is just general piss taking & banter

    I don't think I've had any manufacturer-specific advice from any instructor on any of the three GUE courses I've taken. But it has to be admitted that "The Fundamentals of Better Diving" does read just like a Halcyon sales catalogue! (and an irritatingly wordy one at that!)

    Its obvious that the trade as such is unable or unwilling to accept GUE training or give it some form of recognition is GUE itself trying to do something about this by applying to EUF/RSTC/SITA any of these organisations.

    anyone any info on that.

    HSE recognises GUE as an agency. Limits are stated clearly on cards.

    I have no problem using my certification.

    HSE recognition doesnt really mean much to be honest in this instance. It would be much easier to sell the courses if they were recognised here in the UK and Ireland.. it makes sense dont you think.
