| Neil, I would recommend doing this with your backup reg hose (route it between the corrogated hose and the shoulder strap) - ![]() That will solve your problem. I set mine up like that and it works very well. It looks like your HP hose is routed behind the wing and the suit inflator runs down the front? That is not right, it should be the other way around. Regards, Mark. Last edited by Mark : 04-12-04 at 12:54 PM. |

| Swapping the SPG and the LP hoses doesnt really fly, due to the port arrangements :P Mine is the same, although I run my Suit feed and Secondary the other way around. (DS4's, Agir Wing)

| Hi, I have the exact same reg setup but I run the backup (necklaced) reg hose behind the hoses coming off the right post (it comes out where the "2" is on your last photo) - keeps it out of the way of everything else. I run the HP hose off the nicely angled port on the ATX200 (right post)* and across beneath the wing inflator, which shortens it by a few inches (suits me anyway). This lets me have the DS4 the other way up and gives a slightly nicer routing for the backup reg / suit hoses. * That reminds me, while I'm here - can anyone explain to me why it is the accepted status quo to have the SPG coming off the left post? There doesn't seem to be a nice way of routing the wing inflator - it's very tight on my TDB and I'm considering getting a custom length hose to put a bit more slack in it. If you PM me in the week I'll do you some photos, not got my tanks with me at the moment HTH, Rick. |

| Thanks for the replies, taking in what has been suggested I might be better off running my primary and wing from the DS4 and use the ATX200 for the secondary, suit and SPG. That way the SPG would route more naturaly behind the wing the same as Mark has his. This would result in the wing hose being at a forward angle the same as the image has the suit hose, #4. Should all the hoses run round behind the wing? Thanks Neil |

| If you're going to use the DS4 as primary, do remember that the long hose you bought for your ATX200 won't fit, as it uses Apek's daft custom port size! |

| Rick That will not be a problem, my long hose has the regular size male and I use an adapter to fit it in the larger port. I think the SPG comes from the left post as it is custom to have all non reg hoses coming round the left, although that does beg the question why! You have a pm Cheers Neil |

| If you get a failure of a first stage its normally on the stressed first stage... the one you're breathing off. So, if you have to switch to your backup, you have guage info available.
