Looks like more cash to be spent on new manifold... and ermm....Dry suit....Weight sytem...and on and on and on........... Oh well thats what works for |

| Is it really that important? There are so many other things which are money better spent if you ask me. A manifold is highly unlikely to fail. There are reasons not to use SOS manifolds, including that the rubber knobs aren't designed to work with them and the resistance when full makes shutdowns a pain but not because of the facing O-rings surely? Apeks also do a barrel O-ring manifold you can get from Andy at Dalesdivers. I really can't see it makes a big difference, but I suppose once you start letting people make small changes... |

| Not a dig at you, sorry if it came across that way. I just mean that the cash could get spent on a whole lot of other stuff before you came to changing manifolds. That said, I have a barrel O-ring manifold which I'm told has come out of the same factory as all the fancy ones on the market but has no name stamped on it. If you want it, £60. I can easily have it O2 cleaned and serviced for you for a few quid, good as new. Suitable for 10s and 12s definitely, maybe other cylinder sizes... Digs. |

| The current spec manifolds that are being brought in DO have face captured o-rings. SOS do make barrel type manifolds and can be supplied from Divers Warehouse early in the New Year. They are the ones made in the same factory as the Scubapro. |
