Hope it's nothing iffy, just sent a torch off to them for checking over! Let us know how you get on!

I am trying to find out if they have posted my Proteus 3 torch back as it was collecting water under the lens.

Was your same problem with same torch?

Okay thanks for the info.

They have a problem with the telephone network but are able to take calls on the Breakwater number. Good news.

Gary.

Yeah, same problem, what was the outcome with yours? Also my battery 'oozed' when being charged, quite worrying really!

Informed that "O" ring was faulty and flex cable replaced.

It’s due for return today.

Will get it wet and see it the problem reoccurs.

Seems several other users of the torch have exactly the same problems...

I got a package through from them today - some stuff I'd ordered before Christmas. It hadn't arrived so I emailed them about it - got a fairly speedy reply that there had been problems with their computers so the order hadn't gone through. If anyone's been waiting a while for an order, might be an idea to chase it up.

That was on Friday, and the stuff arrived today. They also threw in a free boltsnap (which I was cheeky and hinted that they might!) as compensation for the delay

Thumbs up

Torch returned with full description of faults and actions on repairs. Looks good.

UE excellent service - have been kept up to date on repairs and returns progress.

Dry tested okay.

Will wet test soon as I can get in the water.

Gary.
