The original Halcyon reels had a solid handle and a different line gude, I know, I have one. I can get pics this w/e and post them if anyone's really interested.

My buddy and I upgraded to the current style of handle.

Fraser is referring to a problem I had on tech 1 - in that holding the reel like Rick demonstrates my fingers are too short to reach the edge of the reel to act as a brake.

I sort of learnt to get round this but it was very uncomfortable. Even a goodman handle which could be lowered for smaller hands would be an improvement. Having said that - Phill you are not having any more money of me
ever again....
