Cheers also for the tip. my thinking about the kit issuse are that my diving has progressed to where I was going to get twins etc anyway, and after researching the DIR-f it so happened that that was going to be the way my diving was going. Notwithstanding some naysayers of the DIR route, I find that having read the Fundies book, spoken to RW on the phone, and read countless DIR posts on here that my style and goals in diving would be lacking if i didn't go down this route. I will still dive with the same buddies, just with the benefit of what seems to be a good system behind it.

For the course I will hopefully be using my own new kit, but if I am still a bit of a noob with it, then I will have to borrow something else. At the moment my TUSA bcd and dangling Xmas configuration doesn't seem to be cutting it though!!
