I was thinking one of the grotty golf balls we found, but the tyre could work. Infact, I also found a plastic octopus clip thing, but I was going to keep that for myself. Decisions, decisions.

So do you guys have a key to the gate or how did you manage to get your cars in?

What was the max depth you found?

Would it be any use for training rather thant the usual trawl to Loch Long in the winter?

Question, Questions, Questions!!

Best speak with Gary (Gunsentry) about this. However, he's been in contacted with the owner and come to an arrangement. We don't have a key, so need to be let in.

Gary thinks the max depth is 18m-20m, from his previous dives. When we tried to go deeper on Saturday, the water cooled down massively and the visability dropped big time.

The platform you can see in the photograph above is in 6m of water.

I'm sure it could be used for training, but in winter remember the water is going to become very cold. It may also cost you some money to get in each time. Again, contact Gary for the details.

Cheers

Smile

I have an agreement with the owners of the quarry.

Insurances in place and payments in place to use the quarry.

However I belive the owners would allow others to use the site if they meet the insurance and cost criteria.

PM me and I can discuss further.

Cheers,

Gary.
