Any-Buddy out there planning to do Tech-1

I'm planning to do the Tech-1 course next year however my buddy from the Fundies is based in Scotland so not much good for regular practice.

Is there anyone in the South, close to M25 J6 (Cateraham/Oxted) that is planning to go for Tech-1 and would care to get together to work on our skill-set?

Alternatively anyone who is GUE trained at all that would care to either form a buddy team/group or have another person join an existing group?

Thanks,
Simon

Myself, Brian of Aquanauts and Martin Burnard are all thinking about Tech 1 sometime next year. Nothing certain but those guys are based in Plymouth and are very good buddies. Currently I'm in Norwich at UEA uni so no transport but happy to buddy if you're ever off to Gildenburgh or something (that's where our club goes mostly).

Well Brian, you'd better be in good shape for it as niknackers will be letting me try out twins and all the toys at Stoney in a couple of weeks.

Are you guys definitely thinking of tech 1 at that time or more towards Sept? I'm happy to go for it though I guess I'd better put in a torch order pretty soon

I will be in Plymouth for most of next year and will definitely be up for doing some skills dives. I am back from my deployment to the Caribbean in November, but will be in the Phillippines for Christmas. Always up for some skills and may be persuaded to do Tech 1, depending on bank balance and timing of Cave courses!

I have neglected my dry-suit diving lately due to being out of the country and the weather being crap when I have been at home. I am looking forward to getting back into the water in the UK.

Hope to dive with you next year.

Hi,

I'm also looking to do Tech-1 next year & am based in Leicestershire.
I'm been trying to get to Stoney for their Weds evening dives, but the more the merrier.
Would Stoney or Guildy be any use ?

Cheers

Andy
