DIR compliant manifold?

as I'm not DIR (yes you guessed it from the signature), I'm not absolutely sure its DIR compliant but think it is, double 'O' rings on the isolator and looks like a scubapro

its not my auction but thought it might be of interest to someone here, who was trying to get their kit compliant

Actually it isn't a Scubapro - it's an 'italian' manifold like the ones sold by Beaver. Just don't go for this one, eh...

Actually I thought the factory that produced Scubapro was in Italy, it also produces for many other well known (and expensive) brands, but bar the superior surface finish, there is little difference. (Sometimes naff washers and bushes are used but these are easily swapped out)

As long as it is robust, with double, barrel-style O rings, I cant see the point in buying more expensive; it is just a simple valve made of brass and the handles we usually swap out anyway.

One thing that is worth knowing in advance, is whether the central section (isolator knob) are correct for your cylinders and bands. These come in 3 sizes, with good bands and 12's, the smallest is usually required.

I think the question is, why not buy these?

Chris B

PS Just noticed Bob Cooper is currently the highest bidder, and I think he knows his kit!
