Heeeeelllpppp!!!!

Hi Guys,

Sorry to open this thread, but I am completely lost....

I am a Tech 1 diver from Brazil who has been around in UK for just 1 month. I am here for 1 year to attend to a MSc. program at Royal Holloway College, here in Egham.

I'm hoping to take advantage of this opportunity to dive around Europe, especially Scapa, which I have been reading about for more than 3 months. They way I want to do it is DIR, whatever this means anyway...

I was in touch with Andy, who kindly introduced me to this forum and told about the get around in Stoney Cove this weekend. I think this will be a terrific opportunity to meet people and go back underwater (it's been more than a month on the dry land...), but I need first to understand what is going to happen there (workshops, dinners, diving, etc..?), when and where to stay.. (anyone willing to share a room or giving an advice on hotels?).

I also need someone going up willing to give me a lift (I'm more than welcome to share the petrol...).

So, can any good soul give me a hand here?

Sorry to ask these stupid and obvious questions, but after 1:30 around and not much handy information I had to cry for help!

Cheers

Here is the dinner - get your name down

Here are the workshops

Here's some accomodation links.

I would offer to help with a lift as I'm not too far away from you but I'm taking two scooters, three twin sets, three single cylinders and all my kit so I'm not sure that there will be room for me in the car let alone anyone else plus their kit. Let me know if you are absolutely stuck and we'll see what we can work out though.

Looking forward to meeting you...

Clare
