Pro 14 part 3

I bought the proteus 14Ah canister and pack a few weeks ago from a fellow YD'r and was very happy with my purchase, although some TLC was needed!

The idea was to replace my fixed tail weight with some of the ditchable variety incase of emergency!

The 6 hour burntime when matched with my Halcyon 18w was merely a
bi-product

I will test the canister on Wed night for sealing with the 50W halogen head first off before adding the HID.

I've put together some pics before and after restoration

Inside

Lid

After a few new bits n bobs, good as new

Pack

Inside

Lid 1 with new cord, switch, boot and banana plug

Lid complete with new locking latches avoiding the use of the rubber band

The finished product

Rick - what is the change of latches about? They never came undone, I always thought the snoopy loop was just belt and braces and hardly ever used it!

Looks good, mind you Caroline's teddy in the background wants royalties

The band is to stop the older latches from being opened by getting caught on line, kit etc.

With the new locking latches it's not really a problem....I hope

Rick, there'd better be a lid2 with a black banana plug proudly fixed (although looking at lid 1 the assembly look a little different to the one I donated...)
