Which should I go for.

i like the scout, but have to say the Heser looks alot nicer (white light), that i just bought as my second

Qualifications:-

PADI : Dry Suit diver, Drift Diver, Deep Diver, Boat Diver, Multilevel Diver, Night Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Wreck Diver, Underwater Navigator, Underwater Naturalist, Enriched Air Diver, Equipment Specialist.

Ok, i haven't actually done any of these certs, but i sure as hell have done them enough times whilst diving. ;]

I have two and am very happy with them. I even used one as my primary in the Red Sea (inside the Giannis D).

Anyways the scout back-up light is the same size as the smalled side of an A4 piece of paper, if that's any help? i dont have a measurer :]

I have a scout and it broke! not what I want from a backup, especially at that cost. I woud go for the Photon Torpedo or Heser.

Mini scout might be an idea if you are of smaller build and have a larger canister light. I borrowes a Pro 14 and it just didn't fit well with a Solaris length light off it.
