I've had a look at the Santi web site. It looks like first class kit and should be flexible and warm.

I just did DIRF and the Santi performed flawlessly I am seriously considering getting the 200g version for when the water temp mans the 400g is too much.

I've just switched from an O'three Ri2/100 to a Protec Explorer and I am just about warm enough to do up to 60mins wearing 4th Element Artics & O'three PBB. I am looking to get a Santi 400g for the winter and add a set of Xerotherms to what I'm wearing now for the >60mins stuff during the warmer months - but having read your post I'm now wondering if I'd be better off with the 200g and just add another layer if needed in the winter....

Is the 400g quite bulky? I don't want a big fluffy duvet / weezle extreme thing!!

The 400g is quite heavy, and it is fairly thick, but the thinsulate material is compressed so I wouldn't really compare it to a duvet. If you're not planning on getting something before the trimix course next month, you can check mine out then. Failing that, tootricky and I are hoping to get to Wraysbury to practice what we learnt on Fundies before the course, and I'm sure you'd be welcome to join us.

OK great - I'll hold off until we've had a chance to meet up. I'm up for a pre-course splash but I can't do 1st - 12th June.

I'll let you know if we organise anything. Any preference between the NDC and Wraysbury?
