For example, everyone now/new uses Halcyon wings. DiveRite Classic wings (along with Seapec and Seatek IIRC) always were.
The only changes to the DR Classic between my two (one is about 10 y.o. and the other 2-3 y.o.) is that the newer one has a thicker outer.
Yep - exactly..

IIRC - The classic - although the 'original' DIR wing has an corrigated inflator hose that is a little on the long size.. (might be wrong)

The only (equipment) change needed on my Cave 1, along with changing the associated inflator hose

Sorry, this is a bit of a hobby horse for me, but just because something that was DIR compliant does not have an "H" on it, does not mean that it's any less compliant than it was.
Yeah, I'd agree with that. What I would say, though, is that the DR Classic wing is only 'DIR compliant' if you order it with a proper elbow on the inflator rather than the pull dump that's fitted as standard and make the inflator corrogated hose a tad shorter. A very quick and easy thing to fix so no biggie! Gotta say, I still like the DR Classic myself - infact, my first wing was a DR Classic so I've got a definate soft spot for them.

Update - D'oh! just noticed Wilbos post - seems he beat me to it!

BTW Turbie - the package is in the post!
