Actually I feel calling it Christmas pud will cause people to shuffle off this mortal coil in a horrible fashion.

By bringing together the best plum duffs, yule logs and inferior Christmas puds we can reinvent the pudding wheel and it shall henceforth be called the DIR no alcohol, sugar, dried fruit, egg, and nut non denominational seasonal pudding.

Please be aware that the flour must be baked until black to qualify, remember less than 100% DIRNASDFEANNDSP is not a DIRNASDFEANNDSP.

Safe diving,
Steve

Yeah but I bet he didn't look the recipe up on some expensive computer that crashed twice with a blue screen that said: "refer to recipe card"

That recipe came straight of the top of his head - that's "pudding on the fly" that is - with the correct ratio of currants and raisins and with maximum use of the "Brandy Window"

Yes. The lower proof percentage allows you to get on it earlier, and it's absorbed quickly.

Good one Howard but after they took it out and served it there was a problem, and had to go back to the pot for a session to finish off the day

There is only one - Croft Original, I buy it for the trifle but obviously have to drink the rest
