What a great day ... we were blessed with great weather, great company and a great range of visibility

My personal thanks to Clare, Al, Di, Fi & Mike for volunteering to help and making the whole thing happen.

My particular thanks to the guys who came and who all seemed to have enjoyed the day ... the comments you made have left me with a warm glow about the event and will mean I definitely will look forward to diving with you again ....and arranging another day like this in the future for more YDers to have a DIR "show & tell" session.

I hope you all got home in time for your respective firework parties or pub appointments

Cheers
Mal

I'd like to echo Mal's thanks to Al, Clare, Di, Fi & Mike and also to thank Mal for making the day happen

it was great to see what all the fuss was about & to see a range of GUE skill levels in the water. Al & Clare were most impressive, as indeed were the DIR-F -level people, but in a "hmm, I might actually be able to do that stuff given some training & practise" -sort of a way, if you see what I mean

I'm chuffed to bits with being able to fin backwards (well, a bit)

I'd also like to thank Di for the unprovoked fin foot-pocket of water over my head, & Chriz for the brick on my twinset

Hi everyone....

........it was really great to meet you all - I'm very glad you enjoyed and survived 'the experience' and I can only echo Mal's thoughts on how good it is to meet YDers in the flesh.

All the best
Di

PS - Very important - could you make certain you are all standing upright and facing your fridge at EXACTLY 23.00hrs as that is when we will signal the probes to commence the download All small animals, fish and small distressable children should be removed from the room beforehand!

Aye, it was a good giggle, thoroughly enjoyed myself, cheers!
