"Discover DIR" - Gildy - 3rd November 2007

A number of people seem to have enjoyed the "Discover DIR" weekends run at Vobster & Capernwray and I would like to do something similar at Gildenburgh and/or Stoney Cove for those in the East & Midlands.

I would expect the day would cover similar sorts of things as the Vobster/Capernwray days, giving people who are DIR curious the opportunity to ask questions about DIR, to look at and possibly try DIR kit and see the basic DIR skills in action.

I am thinking 3rd November since by then some of my own diving plans will have quietened down, as will the inland dive sites

If interested/curious, please add your name to the list below expressing a location preference.

Thanks
Mal

Mal - note that Guildy is NOT dir friendly. They come up with all sorts of wierd rules and regulations about what stickers need to be on your cylinders, depending on wehat mood they are in, and you'll need to take your 32% with you as unless its a tuesday morning following a full moon they will refuse to do it. They refuse to put air in Mark Powell's cylinders becuase it said "nitrox" on them. So he asked for 22%

Not a show stopper, you just need to be aware that Guildy is not like vobster.
