I saw this in action on the DIR day at Gildy. Impressive. I do my own version, despite what I have to use when teaching PADI courses, and I also start at the thick end and work my way down to the toes. I wonder why nobody does it bottom up?

Anyhow, it saved me jumping in with my lead still locked in my car boot
