DIR - a pain in the neck?

I use my chill cheater hood (it's only a thin thing), pulled head part down so it's only my neck covered and that works well with my bungied pony reg.

Thanks folks. Some good ideas there.

Can't wear a rash vest.....the bulges would put people off their lunch.
Hoods won't work in 30 degree water - too warm.

Will try surgical tubing but may have the same trouble as my hose - snaggs the small hairs on my neck.

Looks like I will just have to suffer as diving less aint an option.

ordinary "short" hose? - it works for most people.

just a though, have you tried a "buff", a friend of mine uses one whilst diving to avoid sunburn and to protect his neck - he does a lot of very shallow work as an archaeologist.
I always use one whilst on the bike in the summer months, very comfy and no chaffing.

What about one of those Apollo Bioseals.

You'd look like some extra from a dodgy film but im sure it'd work. Would protect all that area of the neck.

Yep, that's just what my body looks like....it's covered in a layer of fat but underneath the similarity is uncanny.....
