GUE at LIDS - This weekend

This year for the first time, GUE will have a stand at the London International Dive Show (8/9th March). All of the UK instructors will be there, and as a huge bonus, Jarrod Jablonski will be coming over to give a presentation and also to meet and chat with divers at the show.

This marks the beginning of a new era for GUE in the UK in terms of visible profile, diving activity and teaching capacity. At the show we are aiming to raise the profile of GUE and provide a face-to-face opportunity for interested divers to come and talk to us about what we’re up to and what we’re all about.

Also on the stand will be posters from some of the GUE groups around the UK. This is a great opportunity to see GUE divers out there diving and having fun and in many cases undertaking some interesting project work.

It would be great to see some old friends, and to speak to anyone who wants to drop by and say hello.

I have booked a stall selling over ripe vegtables and out of date eggs which will be set up near the APD CCR stand.


I was expecting a big take up from people wishing to throw them at APD, but now....???

Full face masks are a great tool to use in some situations, and you can't deny that they've worked perfectly for Commercial Divers for a very long time.

So you'd be wrong to say i don't like your FFM, i'm sure it works great for you. I'd probably make a few different choices about the kit that I use because of the team diving principles i work too... but we each have to choose the best tools for the jobs we're trying to do.

Anyone's welcome to come for a chat, even you Mark, I'd be glad to put a face to a name at last.
