Set up of kit
I want to fastern m small bolt snap to my second stage alternate reg which is on a long hose and would appreciate any help with the choice of knots used to secure the snap to the hose.

Can't go far wrong with this: How to tie the perfect boltsnap at Wreck and Cave

...but why is your alternate on the long hose? For DIR you'd have the alternate on bungee round your neck and your primary on the long hose

Im sorry it was my thoughts and incorrect description yes my alternate is around my neck it is my donate that is on the long hose.

excuse my newbie wording ive only recently swopped to the long hose.
