| re euro cylinders Im still at the moment no wiser on the euro vs beaver cylinder!!!! I looked on niknaks and was in the process of ordering o2 clean twinset DIRzone 12ltr banded and manifolded, but told from two other dive shops that the beaver cylinder is marked ECS and described as a euro cylinder! So is there a difference apart from price in niknaks euro cylinder and beaver cylinder..! They are both euro cylinders are they not ? Is there a link to show describe difference as i cant see the difference from the sites, theyre both same length and weight ![]() |

| Actually I lied! my cylinders are 13.2kg each (just checked), so they are actually slightly lighter than the fabers They still trim out better though due to the extra length and reduced width (oohh err)

| re good info Thanks for all the info peeps. Iv now decided to go for nakkers twinset cylinders package, I already have the Halcyon type manifold with the big luurvely rubbery soft handles on so il have to use that on my 21% mix twinset fabers! I suppose it will make good trim practise using them buggers eh? I thought i might be able to use manifold on beavers but they dont build kits up n sticker them so iv been told |

| Everyone seems to slag off the beaver bands, valves and manifolds. Whilst im not sure about the bands, the valves and manifolds are identical the the Agir Brok ones. Ive seen them side by side, and stripped down. I have been told from a reliable source that they come from the same factory too. I did see some of the beaver wide bands in the shop today, looked pretty decent to me too. Beaver seem to have a crap image, and whilst quite a bit of there stuff is crap, a fair bit of it is actually quite good. To be honest I wish I had brought a beaver twinset, rather than my more expensive faber twinset with crappy san-o-sub valves and bendy CD bands. From what ive seen the beaver setup is far superior to what I have ! It seems to me like there is a bit of dive brand snobery going on. |

| Just as an aside - having being pointed here by WWD - on a recent visit to a not so LDS, in the midst of an Beaver discussion, I was shown a brand new Beaver manifold, in its wrapping, in the display cabinet. It was rusting. Di The fin retainers Beaver make are very good.
