| DIR Stoney - A Big Thank You GUE - DIR introduction. For me the day started at OMG 4:30 and leave at 5am for the Drive down to stoney Cove. Arrived at 7:45 although the M69 J2 was closed and ive not longer have Sat Nav. Well thats the end of my problems. I would like to Thank Mal for the arrangements for today's introduction to GUE and also the other people i met from GUE who gave up there time to dispell some of the Myths & Legends and preconceptions divers may have about GUE. Thanks to Claire for giving up what i imagine is her valuable time as one of the country's 4 GUE instructors it must be hard to find time like that for today. Other to Thank, Diane (Mad Fish) Phil O Tim & others that i could not quite catch there names and my memory ish Sh1t im sure the other forum members who attended today enjoyed the demo even though the Viz was pants.

| Mal, Neil & the Foxturd boys are doing DIR a big favour by organising these intro days, even if they are a bit like those free personality tests you used to see in Tottenham Court Road They're a credit to UK diving. |

| Same here, cheers to you all! There were some good ideas passed and will adopt these. Cheers, Lou

| Apologies to Mal as I wasn't one of his little helpers but I needed to do something else today. Talking to Al last week at the dive show he kindly volunteered himself and Clare to buddy me on their dive, So Marty and I headed back to the 6m shelf so Marty could do a shut down drill, well done Marty Nice to meet some new faces, hope you all got as much out of the day as I did. |
