Steve Summers wants me !
Well feckin 'ard divers have a mixture of A C & F
In fact if you had loads of breaks you could lots of short different coloured bits!
How clever am l?
I beg to differ. Your current "head to toe bright red" look makes you appear like it's permanently the wrong time of the month.
Anyway.
I've got a clip. It works fine for the diving I do. Other people don't have a clip and the likelihood is they'll die a horrible death hanging off a skipper's ladder or being brained by a RIB. Or 6 miles in a cave system. Either way you may as well cut out all the expense and hassle and jump in front of a bus*.
* a moving one **
** one that is travelling down the road. Not one that makes you cry and connects with your emotional self.

A rather brilliant place to dive
Whatever colour you choose, it'll end up as colour M after you've dived a bit.
Anyway, I think this is missing the point. If you are 6 miles back in a cave, towing 6 stages, 2 scooters and an oog diver - should your crotch strap be stitched or looped with a triglide? Can you refasten your slipped triglide under these arduous conditions?

"You have your way, I have my way, As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist." - Friedrich Nietzsche.
Is the point of diving and meeting your friends occasionally, all about having fun. There are some people diving who cant even undo a harness clip themselves, let alone someone elses...! You should dive however you feel most comfortable wether its in a 5mm semi dry or drysuit, BCD, harness and wing or rebreather as long as it fulfills the obligation of the dive plan and or the conditions.. some people are better than others at doing some tasks but in a different situation this is commonly vice versa...! If you want to dive great, but if you dont, never ever let anyone pressure you into doing so! If you regard yourself as a good diver (professional or club) try not to be the know-all codascending muppet everyone likes to hate but be impartial and understanding of differing needs. Knowledge in the wrong hands can be extremely dangerous:o/ Enjoy your diving, have a laff, take the piss,but make up before you dive cause the one you upset might one day save your life even ih they do wear a one piece harness![]()

I'm going on a BSAC Practical Rescue Management course tomorrow. All bar one of the other attendees are from my club. None (?, ooo, perhaps one) of them use a harness. All use standard BCD's. I have a nice tight one piece harness with no clips (except on the crotch strap). I'll bung some twin 7's on and offer to be victim as much as possible and I'll report back on what happened.
How about that? Perhaps we will get some real data.....
