Its the way tech diving is going in the long-term, GUE will go too. When it gets to a stage where DIR-GUE are the last fat boy being picked for football, then they'll join up.

5-10 years in my estimation.

and who would disagree with you? Most DIR divers I know stay aware of thwta is happening in the CCR world, becuase we know the future has to at least include them, even for DIR diving. The only reason we don't use them now is we don't believe the technology is in place to make them as safe as we would want them to be. In 5-10 years I would hope they would be.

I suspect the criteria will be a little more considered than they are the "only agency that doesn't".

Afterall they seem quite happy with the tag of "only agency that does" in so many other areas.

Oh I don't know I've never had a post deleted by Jay with a warning that I'll be out if I do it anymore. And before we talk age and beauty It would have been even less likely for that to happen when I was 19 and I'm probably more enthusiastic about everything now than I was as a teenager .

has any DIR diver actually ever posted that outside of humour/windup. That sort of comment gets quoted all of the time as being the thing that winds people up, and I'm yet to to be pointed at a DIR diver who has said it, despite asking erveytime I see the comment!
