I have just had another complaint about your immature humour. Jay has warned you once already about being a twat on here and many other people have had a go too.

You may find it funny, many people on here don't. I would advise you to watch how YD works as a community and take note, then apply it to how you apply yourself on here.

I have apologised and PM sent..... I'm sorry I didn't really get the rules and regs, i thought open forum meant you can say anything you want, but understand that I am not allowed to say anything that could possibly offend anyone.

Hope that I can write some articles that people find more interesting but less offensive soon as have loads of diver stories bouncing around in my head and some interesting/ not offensive views I would like discussed.

I was joking and I didn't actually understand how seriously people take it, please take this as my public apology as I am deeply sorry to everyone I have offended and have PMed the most important ones to say so.

BSAC is the issuing authority, selected by the Marine and Coast Guard Agency, for an International Certificates for Operators of Pleasure Craft (ICC). BSAC acts as the representative for the Combined Diving Associations, issuing said ICC to appropriately qualified members of SAA, SSAC and PADI.

I'd suggest you go back to your first class diver mate and ask him if he thinks the MCGA selects agencies on a 'wing it' basis.

Gloc just informed me that the joke about BSAC was offensive which I genuinely 100% didn't mean it to be I'm a BSAC trainee dive leader and dive with two BSAC clubs , I keep saying things that piss people off without even meaning to. I just said to Gloc that the thing I love about BSAC is from my exp they love laughing at themselves in a friendly way. That again sounds sort of offensive but isn't supposed to.

Please everyone understand I dive with BSAC and train with BSAC, I worked with PADI instructors, trained with PADI and dive with PADI and dive with TDI, trained with TDI and worked for TDI instructors so I'm not having a dig at any agency, well not intentionally as anything but for a laugh. When I joined my local BSAC club I got stick every week because I was a PADI diver but that was part of the fun and realised that they were only taking the piss which is what i was trying to do but back fired badly, sort of like the guy who dropped the mortar in backwards and blew himself up (don't know if thats even possible, buy hey).

I am going to tone down but I hope everyone over the next few weeks will see that I can post some interesting debates, okay I haven't really strained anyone's brain cells yet but I have an article I'm working on which I hope people like...

There is a regular poster on here who got his nickname (i understand) because he didn't know when to shut up and stop digging himself into deeper holes.

He is now a respected diver.

You would do well to learn from his example.

Let this thread die of natural causes and it will be forgotten about. Contribute positively about things you know about and before you post, think about whether you would be prepared to say the same thing to that persons face before you click reply.
