Possibly the same way some people who complete fundamentals suddenly have all the answers, know everything and feel superior to people who have been diving for years and had the audacity to train with other agencies.

Personally I'd practice this humour thing before you make yourself a 'badge' that will follow you around on here.

You may think it's a laugh but you're just reinforcing the negative light many see some DIR followers in.

Didn't I start this thread and call it having a laugh??????

Jesus people its a joke. I help out a two bsac clubs locally because I like seeing people come diving with the same enthusiasm as me. I learnt to dive PADI with two instructors who were Adv BSAC insturctors for years before they moved to the dark side, they were also TDI instructors as well as yachtmasters and diver coxains (if that how you spell it?) If there was anyone less DIR it was the guy that taught me but he still is the diver I respect the most as he got me into diving.

I am doing as the thread says having a laugh!!!!! You know, enjoying myself! I hope this is clear to everyone because I am not, now trying to offend anyone apart from the guy I was speaking to earlier. Oh I didn't make the story up its true, and to reiterate my point I don't dive with any DIR people as the force is strong, but hasn't reach this far in land. "Fairford Leys, Aylesbury is as far as you can get from the sea in the UK" so I'm told....

Actually it's a church 7 miles from my house unless the sea has moved over the last few years, judging by my postbag you and possibly Howard are the only ones having a laugh. If you want to post provocative crap like you have been doing, please feel free to take it to a more 'sympathetic' site because setting out to deliberately wind people up is not how we do things on here.
