| Imported post Mark, how do you avoid that? You can become entangled at any depth. I did! I swam straight into a monofilament net at about 20 m and became VERY entangled. I could have freed myself by taking my gear off and cutting myself loose but I wouldn't have enjoyed doing that at 20 m. I was very glad to have a competent buddy at hand to help me and to have plenty of air. I sometimes get the impression that people think having a pony or, even more so, a twinset makes you bullet-proof. It doesn't! It's not at all hard to envisage a situation where even a diver with a big twinset might run out of air and die.
